At MetaDoor (a brand of Window Techs), we stand behind the quality of our custom-manufactured doors. This Warranty Policy outlines the coverage, terms, exclusions, and claim process.

2. Warranty Coverage

2.1 Structural Integrity & Manufacturing Defects — 5 YEARS

Covers: warping, twisting, cracking, delamination, joint failures, core material defects, frame issues, workmanship defects.

Remedy: Repair or replacement. We cover manufacturing and shipping costs. Customer covers re-installation.

2.2 Hardware Components — 2 YEARS

Covers: locks, latches, hinges, closers, handles, lever sets, bolts, fasteners, weather seals (manufacturing defects only).

Remedy: Replacement part shipped at no cost with instructions.

2.3 Finish & Surface Coating — 1 YEAR

Covers: paint/coating peeling, bubbling, premature fading, cracking. Excludes normal weathering, scratches, chemical exposure.

2.4 Fire Rating Certification — LIFETIME

Fire rating meets specified certification. Not covered: loss due to modifications or installation errors.

2.5 Acoustic Performance — LIFETIME

Acoustic rating meets specifications per laboratory testing. Not covered: installation quality variations.

3. Warranty Exclusions

• Installation: Improper installation, gaps/misalignment, incompatible materials
• Damage/Misuse: Physical damage, forced entry, customer modifications, unapproved accessories
• Environmental: Water/fire/chemical damage, extreme weather, termites, rust in coastal areas
• Wear: Minor scratches, fading, hardware loosening, weatherstripping compression
• Other: Incorrect product selection, unauthorized repairs, Acts of God, commercial overuse

4. Warranty Conditions

Proper Installation: By qualified professional, following manufacturer guidelines, in suitable environment.

Maintenance: Clean regularly, lubricate annually, tighten hardware, touch up scratches. Failure may void warranty.

Proof of Purchase: Order number, confirmation email, proof of delivery required. Warranty starts from delivery date.

Transferability: Transferable to new property owner (notify within 30 days). Not transferable if door relocated.

5. Warranty Claim Process

1. Document: photos (close-up + wide-angle), video for functional issues
2. Email info@windowtechs.in — Subject: "WARRANTY CLAIM - [Order Number]"
3. Include: order number, delivery date, description, photos/videos
4. Review: 2-3 business days. Decision: 5-7 business days.

6. Remedy Options

Repair: Minor hardware, finish touch-ups, seal replacement.

Replacement: Structural defects, major failures. New door manufactured (60 days) + shipping. Installation not covered.

Choice of repair vs. replacement is at our sole discretion.

7. Limitations

• Does NOT cover installation costs, labor, travel, consequential damages
• Maximum liability limited to the purchase price paid
• This is your exclusive remedy for product defects
