At MetaDoor (a brand of Window Techs), we ship custom-manufactured doors across India. This policy outlines shipping methods, costs, delivery timelines, and your responsibilities upon delivery.

2. Shipping Coverage

We Ship All Over India — all 28 states and 8 union territories. 95% of India serviceable via our logistics partners. Serviceability checked automatically at checkout.

If your pincode is not serviceable, contact sales for special arrangement.

3. Shipping Partners

Shiprocket — professional logistics aggregator working with Delhivery, BlueDart, Ecom Express, etc. Courier auto-selected based on location, package specs, and cost-effectiveness. Real-time tracking and insurance provided.

4. Shipping Costs

Real-Time Calculation at Checkout based on:

  • Package weight (35 kg per sqm of door area, minimum 5 kg)
  • Package dimensions (door size + 10cm padding)
  • Delivery pincode
  • Live courier rates via Shiprocket API

Typical Ranges:

  • Within State: ₹400 - ₹800
  • Neighboring States: ₹600 - ₹1,200
  • Pan-India: ₹800 - ₹2,500
  • Remote Areas: ₹1,500 - ₹4,000

Shipping cost confirmed at checkout is final. No additional charges after order placed.

5. Delivery Timeline

Order to Delivery = Manufacturing Time + Transit Time

Manufacturing: 60 days from order confirmation (standard). Rush orders for SKU products only.

Transit Time (After Dispatch):

  • Metro Cities: 2-3 business days
  • Tier-2 Cities: 3-5 business days
  • Tier-3 Cities: 5-7 business days
  • Remote/Rural: 7-10 business days

Dispatch Notification: Email with courier name, tracking number (AWB), estimated delivery, and tracking link.

6. Delivery Process

6.1 Delivery Attempt

Courier attempts 3 deliveries. After 3 failed attempts, package returned to origin (RTO). Re-dispatch charges apply.

6.2 Requirements

  • Be present at delivery address
  • Carry valid government-issued photo ID
  • Sign proof of delivery (POD)
  • Inspect package in presence of delivery person

6.3 Delivery Location

Ground floor / main entrance / curbside only. Does NOT include: upper floor delivery, carrying inside, unpacking, installation, or packaging disposal.

6.4 Inspection at Delivery — CRITICAL

  1. Check package for external damage
  2. If major damage visible: REFUSE DELIVERY — note "Damaged - Rejected" on receipt
  3. If no visible damage: open package in delivery person's presence
  4. If internal damage found: note on receipt "Accepted subject to internal damage - photos taken"
  5. Take photos/videos of any damage immediately

Shipping damage must be reported within 24-48 hours. Late reporting = claim rejected.

7. Shipping Insurance

All shipments insured for full declared value. Covers loss or damage during transit. Premium included in shipping cost. Report damage within 24-48 hours for claim.

8. Packaging

Professional packaging: protective film, edge guards, corrugated boxes or wooden crates, bubble wrap/foam, tamper-evident tape, fragile labels. Save all packaging for 7 days in case of return.

9. Installation

NOT included in standard pricing. We can recommend certified installers. Installation guide provided with delivery. Improper installation voids warranty.

10. Failed Delivery & RTO

Reasons: recipient unavailable (3 attempts), incorrect address, refused delivery, unreachable.

Re-Dispatch: Verify/update address, pay re-dispatch charges (typically same as original shipping), then package re-shipped.

Refusal without valid reason: Re-dispatch charges apply. No refund (custom product).
